{"id":12354,"date":"2023-12-19T02:50:50","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T02:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/?page_id=12354"},"modified":"2023-12-19T03:40:27","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T03:40:27","slug":"tribal-nutrition-assistance-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/tribal-nutrition-assistance-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Tribal Nutrition Assistance Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nutrition1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12374 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nutrition1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"89\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nutrition1-200x53.png 200w, https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nutrition1-300x79.png 300w, https:\/\/www.stewartspoint.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nutrition1.png 336w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 336px) 100vw, 336px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>December 11, 2023<\/p>\n<p>Dear Membership,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to report that the Tribe has received a <strong>Tribal Nutrition Assistance Program Grant (TNAP), <\/strong>funded by the California Department of Social Services CalFresh program (CalFresh). \u00a0The Tribe will administer the TNAP grant funds by purchasing food gift cards from local grocery stores on a quarterly basis and distribute the gift cards to tribal members living in the four-county service area that <u>qualify<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria for TNAP through this Program are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be an enrolled member of the Kashia Band of Pomo Indians of Stewarts Point Rancheria<\/li>\n<li>Must submit proof of address,<\/li>\n<li>Must reside in the tribes four county service area of Lake, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma counties<\/li>\n<li>Must meet the poverty income level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eligible applicants will be on a first come, first served basis, and will be subject to funding availability, with preference given to tribal elders and seniors. The Kashia Band of Pomo Indians classify a \u201cSenior\u201d as a person in the Tribe whose age is 55 or older.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requested Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Application to include the Tribal Member\u2019s Name, Phone Number, Address.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of your CDL, CID, most recent utility bill, or a copy of a housing agreement (as a renter or sublease) that documents the Tribal Member applicant\u2019s place of residency.<\/li>\n<li>Tribal ID<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applications are available at the Tribal Administrative Office located at <strong>1420 Guerneville Road Suite #1 Santa Rosa, CA 95403<\/strong> or click below on APPLICATION.
